spazi tra le altre cose. Tra le cose che già appartengono al nostro mondo e si stratificano in esso da millenni. Spazi talvolta secondari nella gerarchia delle nostre città, intercapedini tra oggetti urbani. Spazi di passaggio, percorsi, vuoti tra i pieni, sono spazi senza nome, perché il nome lo hanno le altre cose, tra le quali essi stanno, e grazie alle quali essi esistono. La cultura del progetto interviene per dare loro un nome, per dare loro identità. Una trasformazione delicata, dove il contrasto tra il vecchio e il nuovo, una dualità non sempre risolta, diventa dialogo.

spaces among the other things. Among the things that already belong to our world and have been stratified in it for millennia. Spaces that are sometimes secondary in the hierarchy of our cities, hollow spaces between urban objects. Passage spaces, paths, voids between solids, they are spaces without a name, because the name is given to the other things, among which they are, and thanks to which they exist. The culture of design intervenes to give them a name, to give them an identity. A delicate transformation, where the contrast between the old and the new, a duality that is not always resolved, turns into dialogue.
